Where Do We Go From Here? ~ New Realities Underway

I’m back and integrating my week in Tahoe. Sweet Tania Marie gives a wonderful recap of our Autumn Equinox workshop and some of our adventures together on my visit. We spoke about shapeshifting in our “Living a More Magickal Life” class, and these photos certainly evidence some of that! I will write up my own, complementary post soon but wanted to reblog Tania’s since we will share different aspects of our time together.

Lots of love and thanks to everyone who joined us for the amazing workshop experience and/or dinner and hike afterwards, to Timothy Glenn for meeting us for lunch on Monday, and extra love and gratitude to my sparkly Faery sis Tania, her partner Dave, and all the animals for their hospitality. Much love!

Wow! Where do I start? It’s always hard to find the words that will encompass the totality of experience had, but since this is impossible I can only do my best to express what feels most important to impart from my heart. The last week, as you know, I’ve been immersed in the alchemy of weaving cycles into seamless progression while sweet Laura joined for a Faery visit and an important Equinox and Full Moon gathering. We had no idea what was in store, nor the totality of reasons for it all, but we followed the nudges and committed to seeing it all through.

I’ll do my best attempt at summarizing the key points and expressing the nearly impossible to put into words. I’m also only sharing a fraction of the photos taken during this week, although if you’re on Instagram you can see more of the nature and magick…

September 2018 Specials

I’m heading out of town tomorrow to co-teach our Tahoe based class, “Living a More Magickal Life with Laura Bruno and Tania Marie.” Although, I have no session availability until the first week of October, I will be checking emails once per day. If you’d like to sign up for one of these specials, please contact me, and we’ll schedule a time. Meanwhile, Happy Equinox and Many Blessings … over and out.

Today’s the last day to sign up for August 2018 Specials, which you can find by clicking here. As usual, for this month’s specials, I’m responding to frequent requests and my sense of upcoming needs for support. (If you wish to combine both specials, you can use your Reiki as a full hour, or as a 20-minute energetic boost for each hour of coaching.)

SEPTEMBER 2018 SPECIALS:

$77 Reiki Special

Save $8 off the usual rate for an hour of long distance Reiki, an ancient healing method rediscovered in the 19th century by the Japanese monk Dr. Mikao Usui. The “Rei” in Reiki stands for “universal” or” spiritual,” and the “ki” corresponds to the “life force energy” known as “Chi” or “prana” in other Eastern systems of healing and energy work such as feng shui, Tai Chi, Qigong, or yoga.

Thus, Reiki refers to “universal life force energy,”…

The Forest Primeval and Warren Dunes

Yesterday, David and I took a lovely getaway to St. Joseph, MI, as well as Warren Woods (aka “The Forest Primeval”) and Warren Dunes.

IMG_1040

Warren Woods State Park was preserved by Edward Kirk Warren when he noticed all the old growth forests falling to the logging industry. It was sad to see so many of the majestic, virgin beech with names carved into them over the decades, reminding me of our Turkey Run State Park visit on Mother’s Day 2016, where kids were yelling in the “cathedral.” Even so, this place feels magical. Along with the carvings, you could see many faces in the trees, listening in silence to music in the leaves above.

And for fun:

We then made our way to Warren Dunes, which we first visited with Tania Marie on my birthday back in 2015. We hadn’t returned since, so this seemed like a full circle visit before I make another full circle return to Reno/Tahoe after almost 11 years away. It all seems full circle with our last get together at Fall Equinox two years ago, which included a visit to Cave of the Mounds in Wisconsin. Such glorious, stunning, and mysterious places on this planet! Here are some photos of Warren Dunes. The views kept changing in the light, and we certainly got our sandy workout climbing them.

The upper 80’s temperatures and wide expanse of steep sand made us grateful for sun hats, loose cotton pants, and a refreshing dip in Lake Michigan at the end. A perfect finish to beach town, primeval forest, and dunes!

Wishing you all a wonderful week …

… I’m not sure if or how much I’ll be blogging between Thursday, the 20th and October 1. I might post quick check-in’s and reminders, or Tania and I might enter the usual time-space vortex that occurs whenever we get together. I will still occasionally check emails for session requests and scheduling, but if you’d like to get on the calendar sooner rather than later, I suggest contacting me before the afternoon of Wednesday, September 19th. Early October already has sessions scheduled.

Peace and joy to you and yours!

The Mama Lode

As a follow-up to yesterday’s post by Timothy Glenn, “The Dominoes Begin to Fall,” here’s a link to Judicial Watch’s twitter page. Through a mother lode of FOIA requests, Judicial Watch confirms much of what Tim and I have been saying and hinting at for years, especially in recent months. Ann Kreilkamp also posted Martin Geddes’s summary of events, which he calls the “tech and media omnipocalypse.”

In other words, Hurricane Florence is not the only huge storm right now. I prefer thinking of all this as a kind of Florence Nightingale effect. Healing through the intensity. Here are some wonderful quotes by Florence, some good reminders as we enter a phase where many will need deep support.

Timothy Glenn ~ Autumn 2018: The Dominoes Begin to Fall

Here’s a new update from Timothy Glenn. The only thing I would add to it is that — given the presence of twelve nuclear reactors in the path of Hurricane Florence — including two on the coast of North Carolina, I looked at the astrological aspects for today in Southport, NC. I used 11:11 a.m. September 12, 2018 for my calculations.

Since Pluto rules nuclear power, and Uranus rules unexpected, chaotic events, I paid special attention to those aspects. While highlighted with an almost exact Pluto in Capricorn trine Virgo Sun (0 degrees, 58′ separation) and Pluto sextile Jupiter in Scorpio (0 degrees, 03′ separation), at least these are less intense than the square or opposition. Uranus in Taurus almost exactly trines Saturn in Capricorn (0 degrees, 31′ separation) and opposes Venus (0 degrees, 10′ separation). I love Timothy’s interpretation of Uranus trine Saturn (below)!

With the Venus opposition, please keep in mind that relationships and control/freedom issues could become triggers or volatile. As my friend Toni says, “Take a breath of God.” Inhale love before reacting. Pray for discernment regarding authority and communication. Uranus also rules ideas of “brotherly love” and “highest good of all.” Chiron, the Wounded Healer, is almost exactly sextile Mars (0 degrees, 17′ separation). This is about as easy as Chiron-Mars alignments get, not a picnic, but an opportunity to exert will power in regards to healing self and others. Combined, all of these aspects favor everyday heroes rising to the occasion with compassion that flows from their own awareness and experience.

Those on the East Coast, especially in the Carolina’s, no doubt face major challenges in the days ahead, but these aspects also favor strong will power, healing and regeneration. As Timothy mentions at the end of the article, Divine Love helps us shift into neutral and full empowerment. From this space, miracles occur. Please send Reiki, prayers and loving energy as you feel led. All that said, here’s Timothy Glenn with astro-insights into the coming months.

Autumn 2018: The Dominoes Begin to Fall

by Timothy Glenn

As we approach the Autumn Equinox during a midterm election year in the United States, the traditional “October surprises” will start popping up in September. This will most likely result in “September surprises” and “October shocks”.

The conventional planetary controllers have been backed into a corner, and are now playing “for all the marbles.” Since they still control the TV networks, the major “newspapers” and the giant tech companies, they are spinning tall tales and spewing propaganda on an unprecedented scale. Their efforts to control the narrative will fail miserably. We have reached the point that too many ordinary folk-type humans know too much, and only a rapidly shrinking minority still believe the corporate-sponsored lies of the TV talking heads.

Profits of Doom

Referring to the old world controlling cabal, David Icke said, “These people are nothing if not predictable.” They might be diabolically clever within given parameters, but they lack genuine creativity. They operate from the same old musty dog-eared playbook ad nauseum.

They have always played games of distraction when their criminal machinations come uncomfortably close to being exposed to the public at large – false flag attacks, unnatural disasters, economic scares, Wag the Dog scenarios and other staged events – even starting major wars under the usual phony pretexts.

One of the common threads in all such criminality has been habitual profiteering. Most people recognize the value of the customary principle: “Follow the money.” However, many people refuse to follow a clearly marked trail of money if they sense it leads to specific politicians, companies and their complicit media outlets.

For those who fall into that category: is your emotional indulgence in a pre-packaged narrative really more important than the cold hard truth? If so, good luck with that.

Cui Bono?

Another key principle is commonly expressed by the Latin phrase that asks “to whom is it a benefit?” The perpetrators of high level crimes (like the JFK assassination or the 9/11 attacks) understand that investigators will employ this principle, so these villains will muddy the waters. They own the major media, and it naturally follows that their standard operating procedures will include spinning the narrative and proffering red herrings. Their informational sleight of hand will also involve trotting out scapegoats and framing patsies (as in the “lone gunman” scenario). They will hire agents to infiltrate the investigative community to generate confusion and conflict.

And who benefits from all nation-traumatizing crimes? The usual suspects. Follow the money. The international banksters and their ilk have funded both sides of every major conflict for centuries, and have laughed all the way to the banks they own.

Presidents, premiers, prime ministers, kings and queens are simply regarded as “the minion class” by the kingmakers and kingbreakers of the world. The presidential minions have merely served as playing pieces on the global chessboard, but the world will now be treated to a few stunning surprises as we come to the endgame of the puppet show.

Bombs Away

Truth bombs are barely beginning to drop on our heads concerning the corruptocrats who have been selling us down the river while pretending to be our friends. The real barrage is about to commence.

Perhaps the time has come to get blunt. Maybe the sincerest act of love could be to slap someone up alongside the head with a cold wet towel of truth.

Let’s start with something really basic. Most countries follow this fundamental pattern. Here in the United Sates, I often ask the sleepers: “Do you really not understand that both of these major political parties are owned and operated by the same financial interests at the top of that infamous pyramid scheme that plays a game of divide and conquer? If not, you haven’t even qualified for kindergarten.”

9/11 Truth

This article is being written on the 17th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Most of us know better than to believe the cockamamie official story of that tragedy. In fact, lots of us tend to suspect or even dismiss out-of-hand the official narrative on just about everything the system spews out.

This is also the day that Mars enters the sign of Aquarius in the tropical zodiac, which is predominant in Western civilization. Get ready for government documents to be declassified, so we can see for ourselves what has gone on behind the curtain of deception. Thus will begin the September surprises, preparing us for the October shocks. And all of that will simply prime the pump for the world-changing revelations to follow in the next several years. Truth will out.

Squaring Off

Mars will now proceed to tighten and empower a Grand Cross (a.k.a. Grand Square) as Mars moves up to conjoin the south node of the moon. The lunar nodes (with Mars at the south) are being squared by Venus (who entered Scorpio on the 9th) and by Uranus in Taurus. This will add a spark to the foreshadowing processes that are delineated in the article Uranus in Taurus: The Preview.

Squares (90 degree angles) and oppositions (180 degrees) have long taken a bad rap in astrological circles. This is primarily due to their tendency to serve as a call to action, as well as a demand for change.

The aforementioned article ended with this:

As our old friend the Buddha said, “Change does not cause pain. Resistance to change causes pain.”

Since we have the common saying “the truth hurts”, let’s do a variation on Buddha’s theme: “Truth does not cause pain. Resistance to truth causes pain.”

It won’t help to anticipate disaster. Besides, Saturn is forming a tight trine (120 degrees) to Uranus and a tight sextile (60 degrees) to Venus. These are user-friendly aspects. Saturn will help us lay the foundation for restructuring our world.

Instead of seeing Saturn as the mean old taskmaster of the solar system, it might help to picture him as a young engineer who is totally jazzed because he just figured out some cool ways to give us awesome upgrades. All we need to do is let go of our obsolete programming.

Shifting into Neutral

The challenge facing many people is to achieve a state of genuine neutrality when viewing the dog-and-pony show on the world stage. We will all benefit from watching events unfold from a state of Divine Love, which is a completely neutral force.

Some folks have countered that concept by insisting, “No, no, no. Divine Love is always a positive force.” However, Divine Love is the energetic essence of the Infinite Energy Field in its Wholeness. At that level, it isn’t dividing itself into positive and negative, nor any other type of polarity. Divine Love transcends the limitations of duality. It just is.

If we can “just be” in a state of Divine Love, we can enjoy the show. After all, it’s a fascinating movie, and we have good seats. Pass the popcorn.

September Pretties

It feels like Autumn right now — grey skies, blustery winds … fall clematis, nasturtiums and sedum in bloom. Here’s a little garden beauty to start your week:

The new fox seems to be very good at groundhog patrol. This many years old, formerly huge fall clematis, which Lucy the Starchild Groundhog all but destroyed digging a new hidey hole, even managed to put out some blooms this year:

I love this transition between Summer and Autumn. The rich, yet muted colors and changing light make me smile. Wishing you and yours a beautiful day!

Travel, Availability, Vision and “Visions”

Just a little over two weeks until I fly to Lake Tahoe for a potent visit with Faery Twin Tania Marie! She and I don’t look alike anymore, but we still synchronize without even realizing it. A “random” text often informs us we’re getting haircuts on the same day, sharing similar dreams or making the same dinner. Whenever we get together in person, it proves exponentially transformative for both of us. This time we’ll teach our first and last (i.e. only) class together on Fall Equinox 2018 (Saturday, 9/22): “Living a More Magickal Life with Laura Bruno & Tania Marie.” We have a lovely group with just one spot left. You can click here for details and signup.

Both Kalamazoo and Reno airports often get served by puddle jumpers, which means I have two layovers each way and thus, very long travels days. In terms of scheduling, I will not have session availability from the afternoon of Wednesday, 9/19 until Monday, 10/1. My schedule’s already filling up, so if you would like a session in September or early October, you might want to book that soon. I will not have any emergency session availability during my trip or the weekend after I return. I may or may not blog during that time. Tania and I never know what kind of adventures will unfold when we get together, but they always include unusual time warps, very thin veils, perspective shifts, and synchronous meetings. As such, they demand our full presence and attention.

Speaking of perspective shifts, Tania and I both found ourselves doing a massive purge of clothes that no longer “fit,” symbolically and literally making room for expanded awareness. A series of synchronicities also led me to get reading glasses, which have unexpectedly revolutionized my entire life. It began with a crossword puzzle, something I never do, but felt led to attempt a couple weekends ago. The clues were so tiny that trying to decode those words gave me a headache — nothing like the 16-month mega-migraine of my 1998 TBI, but enough to tip me over the edge to reading glasses.

Sitting at the table with a newspaper in front of me, I suddenly felt like my dad and my Gramma Irene, both of whom did crosswords each week. Both my grandmothers were rare birds. Gramma Irene sang like one, and Grandma Van could whistle, raise her hand and have wild birds land on her finger. My dad, too, had a special relationship with canaries and parakeets. I associate birds with crossword puzzles, “the language of the birds” (another name for “divine and perfect language” or inspiration), and reading glasses. The next day, I walked to Walgreens and got my first ever 1.25’s:

IMG_2258

Whoa! At first they seemed too strong, but I soon realized they added about three hours of potential reading and writing time to my day.

I also noticed how much eyestrain I’ve been living with as my astrology mentorship via Dr. Ann Kreilkamp and Celtic Studies Course with Dr. Sharon Blackie have become more like graduate level classes with the mandatory and optional reading, added to my research and writing of “The Metaphysics of Lyme Disease.” My book keeps undergoing chapter mitosis. In efforts to “show my math” to a general rather than individual audience, more and more things require explanation. Editing often involves expanding one aside or tangential section into its own chapter or even two. Then I need to read and reread what came before to make sure this non-linear journey at least follows a reasonable order of progression.

The addition of dedicated astrology sessions to my list of services means that I now sometimes spend session time looking at a computer screen in order to analyze a natal chart, transits and progressions. Prior to this addition, I did most sessions with my eyes closed or staring into the distance. On occasion, I would look up astrological information for clients, but until a few months ago, I did not offer full astrology based readings. On the contrary, the energy scanning process I use for medical intuitive, past life and other scan-based intuitive readings often messes with nearby electronics, so until recently, I sat nowhere near a computer, let alone comparing and contrasting multiple charts.

On top of my writing, editing, astrology, and studies, our neighborhood sidewalk controversy exploded all over the Township and has morphed into a need to attend many, many Board and Planning meetings under glaring fluorescent lights, as well as analyzing past, current and future agendas and minutes, writing petitions and emails, and discovering a treasure trove of –ahem — things we had no idea we needed to keep an eye on. I’ve probably written a novel’s worth just related to items and issues that several of us unearthed while looking for something else.

In any case, my visual tasts exponentially went up this year, with no lessening in sight. Using reading glasses as a tool makes as much sense as planting last Fall’s 200+ daffodils into our clay soil using a bulb augur instead of brute wrist and arm strength. I expected greater efficiency, but not the increased energy, jubilant mood and love of readers as a fun accessory. I also didn’t expect my distance and mid-range vision to improve so much when I supported the closer tasks. I now own several pairs of readers of different strengths from .5 to 1.25 and half or full size, depending on print size, distance from my face, time of day, and color scheme.

My favorite readers are eco eyeware by ICU, which uses recycled plastic and offers all sorts of cute patterns. (I got them for $5 off at Earth Fare in Portage this past Sunday.) These particular ones have black and white swirls on the ear pieces and case, with plain black facing front. Total Faery Nerd Fest, but I love them!

I used to teach a class called “Vision and ‘Visions,'” which explored connections between how we see with our eyes and our perspective of the world. I learned about that dynamic during years of visual therapy to correct the disabling — but also psychic activating — binocular dysfunction from my 1998 brain injury. In addition to receiving visual therapy as a patient, I interviewed my doctors about spirituality and vision, and I apprenticed with my holistic optometrist in Seattle. (He was the first person to encourage me to work as a professional medical intuitive. He shared his 50+ years of experience with healing herbs in exchange for my doing medical intuitive readings on his patients. We would compare notes, and that process and his patients’ improved results started me officially on my path.)

In 2002, my brain injury related visual problems morphed into astigmatism that a Santa Fe optometrist managed to correct with prescription lenses. Unlike my readers, I hated those glasses and couldn’t wait to get rid of them. Back in 2006, my agreement to add past life readings to my menu of services spontaneously healed my astigmatism. Until a couple weeks ago, I’ve not worn or needed any glasses. It almost feels full circle — more like a spiral — to shift to readers twelve years later, in large part due to formalizing astrology studies I began in 2006.

In recent weeks, I feel increased range of both close up and far away vision. This translates into a greater awareness of overall patterns and the urgency to ground that awareness into tangible language and action here and now. I think of astrology as the left brain confirmation and explanation of my right brain intuitive insights. In many ways, this re-balance of left and right echoes a more general directive to “show my math.” I need to take the aha of inspiration and bring it down to Earth, whether through sessions, non-fiction, or fiction. Show, don’t tell … but do show. Details matter, and the more clearly I can see and explore the details, the more complete that bigger picture grows. As Above, So Below. As Within, So Without … but the reverse statements are also true.

Meanwhile, watch out, world. There’s a Nerdy Faery at large, and she looks rather mischievous:

Garden Update: September Beauty and Bounty

It seemed like Autumn was in the air for awhile, but we’re back in the 80’s. Meanwhile, a mixture of heavy rainstorms and scorching sunshine have the somewhat neglected garden producing well. I’ve harvested several golden beets, plus continued kale and chard. Radicchio has survived multiple groundhog and earwig attacks, and we’ve got some reseeded lettuce and cilantro popping up in the raised beds. It’s officially pesto season, and the zinnias know it’s September:

IMG_2271

Also, we finally have some love-in-a-mist to keep the snapdragons company!

IMG_2273

Perhaps the biggest news in the gardening world is that just as I was writing about the very precocious and determined Rascal Jr., our next door neighbor succeeded in trapping and “relocating him to a nice place in the country.” Apparently, four other groundhogs greeted him there, and he jumped right into the mix, far, far away from my chard. My garden has since returned to a non-putrid scent from all the repellent sprays that did more to repel me than Rascal Jr.

About a week later, what must have been a close relative of last year’s Kalamazoo Kal lumbered into the backyard. What a fatty! This one was much more well behaved than Rascal Jr., but our neighbor and I only saw him that one time. I had wondered why until yesterday our neighbor caught me deadheading flowers and said, “You seen that groundhog again?”

“No,” I said, “just that one time.”

“Me neither, but I forgot to tell you what I did see, three, four nights ago. A fox!”

Randy didn’t know that I’ve been summoning a fox since I realized what a challenge the groundhogs would pose to gardening. Foxes take over existing groundhog dens, and the groundhogs voluntarily relocate. Plus, foxes are cool. I LOVE foxes!

“A red one,” he said. “It didn’t have a white tipped tail, but it was definitely a red fox. It walked right down the line between our two yards and looked at me for a few moments. Then it went across the street and started sniffing around that groundhog den. I haven’t seen it, or any groundhogs, since.”

I think I might have jumped for joy and whooped enough for Randy to think I’m even a bit stranger than he already thought I was. I ran inside and texted my sister-in-law who had sent me as inspiration a photo of a fox on the roof of their car.

“Woohoo! I did it. We have a fox!” Way too excited about this fox …

In any case, the ecosystem here might change. Our neighbor sits on his porch from dawn past dusk, most days. He’s never in 20 years seen a fox and has never gone this long without seeing a groundhog. Here’s hoping!

The purple kale and dwarf cherry tomatoes continue to produce, and I took today’s flash shower as a reminder to plant more golden beets, spinach and slow-bolt lettuce seeds.

IMG_2274

Along with the fox, I was happy to get a second round of blooms from the foxglove. To the left, you can just see the entryway row of potted chard, salvia, snapdragons, and pansies, with soon to be blooming blue iris and gladiolus to the right of another purple kale.

IMG_2275

Life is good at Dra’Faven. It will be even better if I get to see little fox kittens next spring. Oh, my goodness, that would be too cute for words!

Wishing everyone a Happy Labor Day!
